Vein size
- Saturday, June 10, 2006 10:00 PM
This probably sounds very stupid but I see alot of people at the gym that have huge veins on their arms and sometimes legs.
Since I have been loosing bodyfat and gaining muscle I have started to notice small veins forming up arms going to my chest, but they are not big at all.
Are the size of the veins you have relative to the size of your muscles or are they just like muscles that take time to grow from pumping more and more blood through them.
Any tricks on making this happen or is it just loose body fat and gain muscle?
Sorry this question sounds so vain....lol......sorry bad joke...

Hmm genetics is a major factor....but it is natural to assume they would grow at the same time as the muscles.

I'd say genetics is key, I've had pretty big veins all my life, even when I was way out of shape. Don't know if muscle contributes to it, but they are lot more noticable with lower body fat.

If you're going for bigger veins, try using Nitrix or NO-Xplode. I noticed mine getting bigger after about 2 weeks on both. I'm getting more vascularity in my muscles too. But like everybody else says; genetics, body fat, and muscle size all play a role.

Well...over the past few days I', starting to see vein sign.....got alot comming out on the bottom of my forearms, and the cool one (Note im such a dork for saying this) that everyone has on the side is starting to show some blue lines and almost stick out......
To get to the true root cause of my concern.....
I guess what is bugging me is my wifes veins are showing much more than mine....and that just inst right......especially when she knows it gets me and is like "Ohh look at my veins sticking out, they are so ugly" at the gym....laughs then walks to the next machine...

vein sticking out is about the muscle size aswell, bigger muscles push the veins onto the skin harder, they got no where else to go.
