VP2 Whey Protein
-
Wednesday, May 12, 2004 9:06 AM
VP2 Whey Isolate protein is the only kind i've tried, so I have no idea how great or not great it is. As far as gains go, I'm not sure if it has helped or not. I've made gains but before that I made gains also. It's hard to compare the gains made before and after the use of it, maybe after I use it a little longer. (only been 3 weeks or so) Has anyone tried this and used other proteins beside it? anyone have some comparisons for me? Some people say its costly but I was able to buy it at a decent price ($49 for 2x 2lb. jugs of it and free shipping). They have all that research and stuff to back it up so when I bought it I thought it was the best, just wanted to see what others thought. Other comments: - 24g protein a serving - 105 calories a sercing - no sugar It's pretty chunky, I put the powder in a bottle with skim milk or water and have to mix it for a good while. Even then there are small chunks but if you let it sit for a little bit it completely dissolves. O and also, taste isn't so great. Chocolate is decent but in my opinion the vanilla is some trash

I use VP2 full time and I find it mixes quite nicely? I use a hand shaker, and it disolves real well. Ive used many other brands, and none seem to be as light and easy as this when mixed with lite milk. Personally - there was no real choice based on type / performance other than supporting MaxOT, paying via PayPal and having international shipping. Otherwise Id be supporting 101.
