Using Lat Pulldown Machine for Triceps - Monday, March 24, 2008 7:20 PM ( #1 )
Could i use a lat pulldown machine for triceps? I would just simple reverse my grip and stand up instead of standing down and do them facing the machine. I normally do the rope pulldowns at the gym, but i plan to convert more and more to my house in the near future, and i think the fact that im using the lat bar instead of the rope pulldown doesnt make a huge difference (At least i think), i just closen my grip to make up for it.

Yep... you can purchase a v-bar of rope attachment at just about any sporting goods store.. fairly cheap.. or better yet.. make your own rope attachement..

Yep,

A cable is a cable, its how you use it and with what attachment.

It sounds like a good plan for your home setup.

Rant:
But dont you hate people that do that at the gym? There was a guy doing today, on the lat-pulldown for ages working his tris, while the cable station sat empty.... grrrr.

I just use a simple piece of cloth I found at home for this.  (I train at home btw)
