Unrealistic Goal? - Sunday, October 08, 2006 7:47 AM ( #1 )
When I started bodybuilding some four months ago, my body fat percentage was around 28%. I limited my calorie intake according to my BMR and began eating 8 times a day, which is plenty and I never feel hungry.

Now I have reached my first goal; yesterday, my body fat percentage hit 20%. Do you guys think it’s realistic to reach 16% by the end of this year (i.e. within less than 3 months)? I’m asking this because as I progress, fat loss seems to become slower and slower, and something tells me I shouldn’t go below 1,800 calories per day.

just keep doin what ur doin man, ur obviously goin the right way about losing fat, also 3 months to lose 4% BF is EASILY possible just bump up your cardio and keep your diet right and you'll go flying past 16% BF.

Good work on losing 8% BF already man

I wouldn't go below 2,000  calories per day.  Yeah, fat loss slows.  Bastard adipose cells.  Are you switching up your routine?

Are you going to keep us posted on your progress to your 16% goal?

many people were skeptical.. but i went from 23% bf (scale reading) to 19% in 4 weeks... im 22% now (bulking up)
So yea, I think its very possible, and I agree with ado you will fly past 16%.

How and what do you eat to be able to eat 8 times a day? Do you eat about the same amount of calories each time or do you eat more calories at a specific time?
