Unfused Epiphysis - Saturday, February 03, 2007 9:28 AM ( #1 )
I just saw an otherpedist the other day to look over my MRI results. Based on what he saw, he told me i have unfused epiphysis. He said it isnt common, but it isnt uncommon. From what i remember, it has something to do with the plates in my shoulders growing and forming together as i am growing (i am 16). He told me to start hitting the weights really light and doing more reps, then icing the shoulder and taking Advil if it hurts. He said it should go away in a couple moinths. Hopefully ill be able to start lifting heavy again so i can begin training for spring track.. Anyone else ever have this problem???
