Under calories - Wednesday, April 29, 2009 4:25 PM ( #1 )
So I have a job wherein if I'm not careful I can forget to eat for 6-8 straight hours which if I'm on my game means I've missed 2-3 meals.  This happened today, do you think I'm better off postponing my workout a day, or going anyway?

I'm going to err on the side of lifting more, but as a general question:  how counterproductive is it to lift when at a calorie deficit for the day?

Specifics:

8:30am  - 600 calorie meal
11am - missed meal?
2pm - missed meal?
4pm - 600 calorie meal
6pm - 600 calorie meal
7:30-8:30 workout
9pm - 600 cal
11pm - 400 cal including a bunch of dairy for the overnight digestion

I usually try to hit 6 meals, so this is altered to try and cram as many calories as I can into whats left of the day.

Lifting would still be better than not lifting.. You still have 5 meals a day, it's not that big of deal. But I would try and get somthing in, like bring a few protein bars or something to work and eat them..
Goals by end of 2009:
Bench 205
Squat 255 ATG
Squat Clean 185
