For the last like 4 days I've been eating tyson chicken like non-stop. It is the heat up in oven type that's all ready cooked and breaded. I havn't really thought about if it is actually a smart choice. Is it fine to keep doing this or should I be grilling chicken instead? It is the chicken strips(Crispy) And do any of you eat them? here is an info page on them... http://www.tyson.com/recipes/product/ViewProduct.aspx?id=85

get some plain chicken breasts, frozen or fresh from the store. The ones you have contain a lot of sodium. They are not the worst but if you have the time then I would grill, or bake your own. Finish off the bag and get something else. Tyson also makes frozen skinless chicken breasts and precooked and grilled chicken breast(still have a lot of sodium though.) Either buy them in bulk and freeze them or buy them frozen in bulk.

I get the "natural" type of chicken breasts. No hormones type. They are a little better on the sodium. I don't eat it breaded. You have to have something on it to make it stick and the bread is not good for you. Stay with the grilled or baked. Add seasonings to them. Lemon, greek, cajun, paprika, chicken grill spice. Spice em up, then they don't get boring.

ORIGINAL: kris142 What kinds of seasoning could I do for grilled chicken that are healthy no/low sugar? Depends on what flavor you like. I just read all lables on everything I get from the store. Most of the ones that are good for you cost you the most...go figure!

I buy a 10 pound bag of chicken from Costco. It's not the greatest I could get, but it's not breaded or precooked, and it's cheap, like $30.

I like the montreal chicken seasoning from grill mates. I dont know if it is the healthiest item though.
