Tweaked my Achilles. ANNOYING! - Tuesday, July 29, 2008 10:58 AM ( #1 )
well,  i seemed to have tweaked my achilles tendon on the rear of my foot.  I was doing some real heavy calve press's on the leg press machine,  and i think i over extended on the left foot.

My achilles is tight, and sometimes a little sore.    It's not severe pain.  I can walk ok, but it's just VERY annoying.

so now i can't run for a little while, and i'm avoiding working my calves.   SUCKS!

I'm resting, and it's been several days, but is there any way to help speed the process up, or is this even something that will heal?    I've never had this type of injury before, and it blows.

all input is appreciated.  thanks.  (and yes.. i know the whole "you need to seek professional advice of a doctor instead of asking us".   If you have other advice to give me, i'd appreciate it.)
