Turkey Burgers - Saturday, January 06, 2007 2:37 PM ( #1 )
Ingredients:

Ground Turkey (be aware of the fat content.  I go with no fattier than 85% lean)
Chives
Fresh Diced Onion
Garlic Powder
Worcester Sauce

Directions:

Simply use your instinct in mixing these ingredients together.  The Chives are really to help out the consistency, as the turkey tends to get a little bit pasty without it.  The garlic powder adds LOADS of healthy flavor.  And forget about the onion, there's a reason it's my favorite vegetable.  When you're eating these burgers and you bite down into a morsel of onion you'll understand why they make this food great, and it's cooked right in so you can even eat these burgers by themselves without having a bun, or condiments or extra veggies. Obviously though there isn't enough onion in each burger to consider it a serving of a vegetable.

Reccomendation:

Take 1 burger and melt 1 slice of Kraft or other brand Fat Free American or other cheese on it.  Wrap it in a nice leaf of Romain Lettuce.  No need to add any mayonaise or ketchup or any of that crap - guaranteed.  Enjoy.
