hey guys me and some college friends are entering a tug of war competeition and we were wondering what is the best muscles to be worked and how to work them, and what is the best technique that you guys could think of

This is goofy but legs and grip. People think you pull with your back but you don't. You drive back with your legs.

cool thanks you got any exercises or is it just like lunges or squat and stuff and how do you work grip thanks

Find the heaviest furniture you can move and drag it across the ground by pulling it.
