Book review Relax Into Stretch E-book cover Relax Into Stretch is a highly illustrated book with detailed information on stretching techniques and thirty-six stretching exercises. Some of the stretching techniques that
Relax Into Stretch teaches about are "forced relaxation" and "waiting out the tension" which are applied to stretching exercises.
Relax Into Stretch is simple and straight forward, the beginning pages cover techniques, stretching while injured, among other things, and pages 47 - 138 teach the stretching exercises. The information in
Relax Into Stretch ranges from basic stretches to stretches that I have not seen before and require advanced level of flexibility.
My personal experience Using "contrast breathing", I gained improved flexibility within days of practicing a specific few exercises in
Relax Into Stretch. One of the exercises I have included into my morning ritual is the "kneeling hip flexor stretch" which has improved my hip-flexor flexibility and
may have improved my performance in my morning jog. I also practice the "good morning hamstring stretch", this stretch has improved my hamstring flexibility and I seem to be able to reach a barbell easier during a deadlift.
Recommendations I recommend
Relax Into Stretch to anyone wanting to improve their flexibility.
