Trying to lose weight - Friday, June 02, 2006 12:27 PM ( #1 )
 I weigh around 270(14% bf) right now and I wana weigh around 250(I think around 8% at the end of summer). How many meals a day should I have a day if I'm trying to lose weight. I burn around 1,100 calories a day a the gym alone-not including the calories that I can't keep track of. For instace, pushups, weighted dips, and actual exersises. What's a good meal plan?

You wanna eat 5-6 times a day and try to make a calorie deficit.  You need to be taking in less calories than you are burning off.  Go to the nutrition section at the top and see how many calories you need to eat a day to lose...

Yeah... your workout would have to be something like: an hour lifting (high intensity) for about 450 cals and running for 45 minutes (at 6.7 mph) would be 676 calories... Thats a lot of running though...
