I would probably need an EMT somewhere in the middle of the run, Its only recently that I have ever really "run" in my life since I was home schooled since grade one though highschool, more so in the last few months have I even started running properly for endurence!
I go beyond the pushups/situps/pullups though, I think it was 17 pullups being my best effort set, dead hang, but not 00B3R strict about them being dead hang. Got the pullups using a combination of hard work, Armstrong, messing around, doing both close grip chinups and normal grip pullups, losing more weight, staying hydrated, etc, got to do them and be persistant about it.
Guys in that forum might be able to give you some deeper wisdom and advice.
