Alright fellas, need a little advice on how to control what i eat...i do fairly well with my diet 80% of the week, however i go thru periods where ill eat unhealthy, then regret it for hours to follow. I'm not binging by any means, and not eating large amounts of food, just unhealthy food, which makes me feel real guilty afterwards....any advice on what i can do inorder to stay on track with my diet, and not give in to the temptation of eat like crap? thanks

If you're having trouble eating healthy - here's the key - don't let yourself get hungry. Eat little and often. If you're hungry, your appetite is going to take over and you'll always pull towards that tasty cake over that healthy salad with vegetables, fruits and lean protein with no seasoning. Eat a little at a time, eat often, don't allow yourself to get hungry and crave things and you'll have a much better choice at what you eat.

Don't feel guilty. Then use it for motivation to work harder the next week.

Just dont do it. Well......sometimes that works. How about building in a treat in your menu once or twice a week. Include it in your macros and see how it works out. Another thing is to get a good quality protien or meal replacement bar and hit that for a treat. Maybe have access to a tablespoon of natural peanut butter. Make sure you build that into your macros and calorie counts. The other issue is the question of why eat unhealthy? Do you do that due to hunger and you dont have any good food? The MRB will work to fix that. Does this happen out of boredom and you eat since you are bored? Does the sweet craving hit? Are you a stress eater? If you can pinpoint the cause as to why you decide to eat unhealthy, maybe work on the root cause.f you simply miss having a treat,l then you may just need to build that into your program once a week or once every two weeks.
