Don't try and eat this bar at home! Smile

1) Hardest damn thing I ever put my teeth into except once when I tried to eat a Lego
2) Sugar alcohols that will make your tummy rebel
3) 30 g of protein can be taken in a nice, healthy, shake

If there was a bar I would stay away from. This would be it.

Thanks for the FYI.
Speaking of bars, are there any that actually taste good and improve performance and growth?
I'm so tired of the trial and error at GNC.
Wondering if they are ever going to market a Cheeseburger flavored protein bar.Smile
I can't stomach the chocolate and sugary flavored bars.
Also, though this has nothing to do with bars, does Creatine work for women? I've heard pros and cons and I even heard at one point that it doesn't work for us.
If that's true, it's a bum deal since I have some in my pantry.

Many of the bars have sugar alcohols in them so they will be 0 fat. But that's not really good. I know I've had several bars with that type of content and I end up with major stomach issues.

To date, I've still not had a better tasting bar then the Promax line.

While everybody complains about sugar in them. They taste great. It's a meal replacement. And you shouldn't really have them all that often when cutting as your calories will shoot thru the roof. However, it's free from a lot of the crap they put in bars now to keep them low fat. In order to have such low fat and try and taste good, they replace good old sugar with sugar alcohol. In my opinion, it's a very bad tradeoff. You might as well get sugar into you over that crap.

Creatine can work for women. It's not really a gender type supplement anyway. You will retain more water as your cell volumize but if you are a responder (only about 30% do not respond) you should notice some good strength gains.
