half a chopped apple
a dash of cinnamon and two packets of Equal (optional)

Pour the mixture into a fry pan and cook on medium until one side is lightly browned.

I have made a very similar recipe to this.  Instead of the apple I put pinapple and raisens in them.

Have you used other protein powder flavors?  I've never seen vanilla praline.  In your opinion, is the extra sweetener necessary?  It would seem that the protein powder would make it sweet enough.  Of course, I'm pouring real maple syrup in huge quantities on this . . . that doesn't wreck the carbs, does it?

I personally use Cytosport's Vanilla Whey.

And I do not add sweeteners as the vanilla and apples makes it sweet enough.

Cool, I'm on the Try Out the TVOP bandwagon.  I love pancakes and miss them!  Now we just need "healthy" bacon (if that was ever possible), real maple syrup that isn't deadly (c'mon trees!), and healthy fat butter--if the cows would ever cooperate.

Ok well i just made some of this.. instead of cinamin and equal though i only had cinamin sugar, so i added some of that.

Didn't have any apples either.. the pancakes were surprisingly good, a little bland (maybe because of missing apple).  Also, the protein powder i used i simply HATE by itself in a shake, so this will be a good way to get through all 78 servings of it in the package

Like i said they were good but sort of bland.. what should i add to them to spice them up?  Is there any like low-fat syrup?

Oh yeah, and for the apples, how exactly should i put them im? dice them up or what?  For nutrition facts.. thats for the #s u used in ingredients right?

low fat syrup?

The problem with syrup is the high fructose levels

not the best for shredding fat...but again, not the worst either...everything in moderation :-).

IMO cytosport vanilla has WAYYYYYYY too sugary a taste when it's cooked(i was making chicken with cytosport), i stick to my ON vanilla when i cook now just because when it cooks, the slight sugar it has in it is more than enough for me

why are they not good for losing fat and what about these i was told these are good to lose fat?
( 1/2c. oatmeal, 1/2c. cottage cheese, 3-4 egg whites, splenda, cinnamon or vanilla, tsp. baking powder). mix all together in blender, then pour in non stick pan. really good to add blueberries as well). flip once when bubbly on one side). very good and easy.
