So, a long time ago i made a post about getting tingly limbs (mainly arms) while I slept. Anyways while ago i started liftin pretty heavy again and started getting tingly arms at night and it was seriously effecting my sleep....waking up hourly just before you have to go to work is not fun. Anyways, was doing some reading and decided to buy Magnesium from walmart. i've been taking it for a week and my sleep is so much better and i have not been woken up because of my arm getting tingly. so, if anyone else has had this problem while they train look into getting some magnesium to help you in them restless nights LOL.

I was taking some ZMA (zinc magnesium aspartate) for a few days a while back to try to sleep better through the night. It made me sleep better but gave me some weird nightmares. Also woke up groggy which I hate. Maybe I'll buy straight magnesium if I experience sleeplessness again.

julien_sti nightmare...from minerals? thats weird... Well the ZMA I took (GNC) doesn't just have zinc and magnesium in it. It also has hops flower extract and valerian root. The valerian root if I remember right is the sleep aid. That may be the culprit, idk. Also has a bunch of B vitamins, folic acid, and copper. I'll take it tonight and see what happens!

I took zinc and magnessium for awhile, I seemed to sleep better when I did take them...maybe it was just me making myself think it worked. Regardless I have never actually tried real ZMA. Still take the magnessium with chilated zinc, I sleep alright, could be better but its leaps and bounds above what sleep I used to get.
