Well I've been training hard (lifting) for about 7 weeks, and eating better (last week has been GREAT).  Well today at work I was tumbling (you know the simple stuff like double backs and what not haha) before I started, I took my shirt off to change and two of the other coaches were like "Holy sh** Kevin you're getting ripped, I need to stop drinking."  The other one said "Holy crap I never knew you had those muscles."
Just that alone made me even more motivated for better results!

Weston is right it will only get better... wait till you hit the 3-4 month mark thats when youll start seeing a really big difference and get lots of compliments.  Thats the best part.  It seems like whenever i start getting down on myself and think im not seeing any gains someone says something to me and it totaly rejuvinates me and i bust my ass for another couple weeks its the best feeling the world.  Keep up the good work man!

I forget the stats, theyre not with me now but I measure on May 28th.  I'm going to remeasure at the end of this month...

As for tumbling, well I did power tumbling when I was younger.  Power tumbling goes like this:  you have a 100 foot spring floor, it's about 6 feet wide.  You are required to do a 5 skill pass, then an 8 skill pass.  I had just tested elite (the highest level) and passed but moved to take a coaching job instead.  In elite you do two 8 skill passes, you get VERY dizzy after 8 skills.

Hell yeah, bro!  THAT's what this game is all about!  Try this if you have the discipline and willpower to follow through with it:

Last year, I started working out on August 1st.  At that time, I was a wreck of a beanpole.  I made a promise to myself not to be seen in anything less than baggy long-sleeve shirts and long pants until the following summer; the whole time, I was busting my butt in the gym, building up to where I am today.  When summer finally rolled around, and the short sleeves came out of storage, BOOO YAAAAHHH!!  Talk about taking everyone by surprise! Smile

Keep up the awesome work, dude!

Yes, that's me in my avatar, and NO, I don't look like that today. That was taken back in Jan '07, and I lost most of that progress when I slacked off last year. I'm on my way back, tho, and I'm using that photo for inspiration.

Thanks for the suggestion veggeep but living in Hawaii where my work doesn't have AC and neither does my house only means I'd die of heatstroke in about....oh 32 seconds...
