Think I pulled a bicep muscle

I am a 44 yro male who has been working out for 20 years. About 6 weeks ago on a bench press I felt pain in my bicep area about 1/2 from my shoulder to my elbow the pain seems to be more concentrated on the front side of my arm. Its not an intense pain but it is there. I let the arm rest for 2-weeks with no workout and took Celebrex the arm felt better and I worked out again doing lightweight bench presses, the next day the pain was back more intense. I can feel it thoughout the day certain movements hurt worse than others. I pretty much know the doctor will tell me to rest the arm and stop working out. Do any of you have any suggestions on how to treat this myself? Also benchpressing seems to aggrevate it more than anything else in my workout routine.
