The best beginner’s book - Sunday, February 19, 2006 12:58 PM
I’ve been working with weights for the last 10 years with great results and am constantly being approached by co-workers and friends who try to workout smart but are overwhelmed with all the BS-quick-fixes the Internet is flooded with.  I am considering writing an e-book that would summarize everything a man would need for the first 1-2 years in the sport - from the time management and mind set, to diets and supplements, to body types, to workout routines, etc.

In essence, the book is to be a result of years of learning and experimenting, and will filter out all the hype while outlining exactly what works and why.  The other aspects it will address – time management to fit workouts and proper diet in a busy schedule, and to spend as little time as possible in the gym.   I am talking about the single source of knowledge, the only book the one would need to get on his feet in the Sport of Gods.  I asked my friends, and everyone said they’d gladly spend $17-19 for such a book that can be downloaded in a blink of an eye.

The question for you is: Would you buy it if it delivered everything I promised above, or would you dismiss it as another one in the array of existing books?

Finally, The Book has arrived!

No. But only because I'm writing my own... HA HA HA HA!!

Just kidding I'm always buying new material (even if it re-hashes old material) and seeing how it stacks up to what I already know & practice. That's just plain good advice for anyone who really loves this game.
Yes, that's me in my avatar, and NO, I don't look like that today. That was taken back in Jan '07, and I lost most of that progress when I slacked off last year. I'm on my way back, tho, and I'm using that photo for inspiration.
