so where are we?
We're on our way to June 28th, for which you'll all just have to wait... MWAAAH HA HA HA HA!!!
Sorry to be so coy, but I'm deliberately not keeping a log this time (at least not until I get back into the condition I was in January '07). It's just too much of a distraction. Last time I did that, I frequently found myself up until 2 AM updating and goofing off with DBBers on my log. Can't grow when you're not getting the necessary shut-eye.
Plus, I already shot "reaction" poses to replace my March 23 photo with when I throw down the mid-stream update ('cause I'm a flaming uber-dork, and I'm taking the "Before & After" genre where it's never been before

). Not only that, but I already put that reaction pose in the PSD file on a hidden layer, and I'll do the same for the June 28th shot. That's my little way of making sure I step up with the goods, now that I've committed myself to the battle).
As for the graphics angle, yes, Photoshop is involved (as discussed previously), but when used as a verb, "Photoshop" has pretty far-reaching implications. If by "is it Photoshopped?" you mean "Did you morph or otherwise enhance yourself?" (which is usually what most people mean), the answer is no. Rather than bore everyone with the ubiquitous bathroom mirror cellphone pic, I like to shoot against a deliberately over-exposed plain white background, so I can make quick work of alpha selection. This is a common practice among stock photography agencies (like the one RobertN linked to), so prospective clients can pull the subject out of your photos and drop them into any background. I rather prefer the idea of making the B & A pics blend in with the graphics of the DBB site itself, so I alpha'd the white backdrop and replaced it with the 228,234,240 RGB solid so it looks like I'm just standing there on the page. On the other hand, if y'all would rather see my vertical blinds, I can do that too. But this is so much cooler
