The -4%BF Challenge! - Wednesday, August 15, 2007 1:28 PM ( #1 )
Hi, i only recently found these forums and intend to use them quite a bit, so please, don't think im a freeloader wanting info, the going.

Right, so ive been weight training/bodybuilding for the past couple of months, but only really seriously in the past month.

My aim is, to have a good set of defined abs, pectorals, a good back, and more noticeable biceps (my legs dont really need much work).

Im 17. My height is 5,8" i weigh 174lb's and have a 33" waist. My BF% is 14.2. Im wanting to get it to around 10% to get more defined.

I currently use Maximusle products, i use promax which is 100% Whey protein (2X30gm serving a day), Creatamax (2X5gm serving a day) and thermobol which speeds my metabolism.

My usual routine goes something like this:

9AM- Have 100ml skimmed milk, 60gm Granola and a bannana.

10-11/11:30AM- Workout at gym, depending on what body part i am working on, or having a cardio session will depend on how long the workout is. I tend to have 1 Cardio session a week, and mix up body parts that i am focusing on.

Post Workout - Protein shake and creatine.

12:30 - Tin of tuna with low fat mayo (only a little bit), olives and salad.

2:30 - Chicken or tuna sandwhich in wholemeal bread no spread.

5:30 -  Crackers and houmous, or cottage cheese to do me until tea time.

7:30 - Vegetables, Chicken or beef. Maybe a stir fry, tuna steak etc.

9:30 - Protein shake with creatine.

10:30 - Sleep.

There is obviously variations in each day to day routine, for example, i sometimes train on a bag or a speed ball for around 30-45mins or sparr, this is usually every thursday at aroun 6pm.

So i just need help with what im doing wrong ect, because atm my biceps are noticeably bigger, but those abs and pectorals dont seem to be improving (i know it wont happen over night, but i expected some sort of improvement within a month.

Thanks if you read this, all comments are highly appreciated.

Well, if you read the title it says the -4%BF challenge. Seeing as my BF is 14% and my goal is 10%, that means i have to loose 4%. So therefore is -4%.

Well you gotta have a set routine to build muscle and some sort of cardio plan if you want to lose weight or to keep your fitness level up.

Feel free to ask questions.
