Testosterone lowered? - Thursday, June 22, 2006 4:50 PM
Hi, I'm new here and new in bodybuilding also. I'm just following every instruction I consider convincent and have had very good gains at this time... Oh, I'm ecto/mesomorph, the almost skinny guy, not a very easy-gainer.

I'm confused because I've read a lot about testosterone and exercises and lots of people does agree that masturbation isn't good while trying to bulk on mass. Is that true? They argument that masturbation lowers testosterone and that's why you wouldn't have optimal gains if you do masturbate. Heck, I'm 18 years old and my girlfriend end up with me a month ago. Should I follow those orders? Is really important? Don't Bodybuilders have sex? This sounds crazy but I'm waiting for a final word before doing anything...

Well, a weird question to start. I'll wait for your answers.- :)

personally i wouldnt worry about it. i have gotten great gains in the gym and still do so dont worry. i dont think it lowers your testoserone levels enough that it would jepordize your gains

even, so im gunna go for a trial period like 2 weeks maybe if i can see if the gains are greater or if the change isnt that significant trial and error i suppose.

P.S the gains better be well worth it.

i dont think 2 weeks would be long enough to see any real results when i switch something up. not that ive tried this before but i always wait atleast a month

Masturbation lowers zinc levels, which lowers T levels. Just make sure to get enough zinc and you'll be fine. Here's some foods containing lotsa zinc:Fineli/top foods for zinc
