RE: Testers Wanted! Designer Supplements - Wednesday, January 11, 2006 7:55 PM
As a serious athlete who plays football, and track, and am being recruited by small D3 schools in the southern california area I am very interested in this and would love to try out these products. I am 18 years of age and a senior in highschool in Las Vegas, Nevada. I lift 6 times a week with a rest on Fridays. I am currently on a program that will help me as a hurdler for the 300m intermediate hurdles for track season. After working out at the school gym, or at our Las Vegas Athletic Club i run 4 300m sprints 3 200s and 2 100 m dashes. This is helping build my waist section. I had currently been bulking before I started my cutting down for the season. Starting after football weighing 165 pounds i jumped up to 175-180 throught the dormant basketball season. Now its back to hit the track and I am looking to cut down to about 162 to be at a prime running speed. I have a camera and can takely daily/weekly pics as often as needed and have the ability to supply the board with daily information on what I ate that day as well as how im weighing and how the supplement is working. I hope i can be of assistance as a helper, as well as hoping that this supplement helps me in my journey to becoming the state 300m hurdler in Nevada. I am currently taking CellMass after workout and protien about 62grams a sitting 2 times a day.

Thanks

I wouldn't sit here and beg to sample these products.  They consider you being the lucky one trying a product that hasn't been out long.   And you are helping them out actually, and if the stuff messes you up they don't care you are guine pig.   And if by chance you do love the stuff you will just continue to buy it from them and make them rich.  So stop the begging.  What they have to offer isn't to beg over.

Ah, we have a real brain surgeon here.

First, no one is begging.  Give your fellow members a bit more credit than that.  Hopefully, they have researched the products and their ingredients, and are interested in an opportunity to try something at no cost.

Second, no one is going to get rich off a few free samples.  True, the whole point is to generate interest.  That is the whole point of ANY marketing tactic.  What makes THIS marketing tactic valuable to us, is that we know that our products are that good, that all we need is a few people to use them and discuss them.  In other words, the point of this is to validate what we know, not check on some guesswork.

Third, all of these products have been on sale for quite some time.  Glucophase for over a year, Melting point for more than six months, and Basic Cuts since September.  Moreover the ingredient profiles are thoroughly researched.  These are not "guine pig" tests.  Yes, we sometimes do offer what we refer to as alpha testers (which is fully disclosed) but this is not that case.

Carry on.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion no arguments from me...

But when a company like Steve's is kind enough to keep DB in mind when it comes to new and interesting products, why on Earth would you want to turn them away?

I have far too many projects to spend any time on other forums then DB.  I get a lot of my news from here too because a lot of members come back and tell us about something.

DS introduced ActivaTe to me and I would never have found out about that supplement otherwise.  It did work and I'm glad I gave it a shot.

Anyway, nobody is begging... DS asked for testers who were interested in trying this out.  Seems like there's some interest.

I like the fact that DB is big enough (or Steve and company) are kind enough to consider us.  Otherwise, all this stuff just goes to the 100 other bodybuilding forums out there.

Granted, you may not think it's all that and that's fine.  But I see no point in slapping away a helping hand from a company that has PROVEN to me that their **** works.  Scary how well it works at times.

I'm also biased because Steve (Twin Peak) helped out DB on a request from me, when he didn't know me from anybody else to come to a forum that had 3 members.

Nobody else would do it.  I am glad he remembered DB and sends requests like this for people to try.

If you are interested, post.  If not, that's fine too.

Thanks Marc, for the nice words.  Yeah, I remember when there was only three of us.

This board will always have a special place in my heart (everyone should be in tears now) even though I rarely get to post on any boards these days.

I have been complaining that this board should have more DS attention, be were are just spread so thin right now, so many moving parts.  Anyway, your point is dead on....we aren't looking for guinea pigs, we are looking to give back to the board.

My name is Brian Martin, I have dropped weight and cut up real good but now I am in my bulking phase.  My body fat is nearly 8-10% giver take, but I tend to think it is a bit more but what do I know.  I believe I would be a great candidate for a tester due to my awesome timing and prompt response and participation in the forum's threads.  I am currently on Muscle Protein 100% Whey, Cellmass and No-Xplode and Axis HT.  I am thinking about strongly taking Axis HT off and going with 17-HD as this gave me betetr results, I will see.  I workout every single Monday, Wed, and Friday using my own technique and it seems to be working out great as you saw from my photos.  I live in California and I workout at 12-1pm on my days of training.  I work from 7pm-3am nearly daily with the exception of Wednesdays where I do not work.  I have been training for 10 months now and been doing great progress.  I weigh a terrible 141 at 5'9" but am incredibly strong as I am over the 275 mark on bench pressing.  I curl at max 70lb dumbells but comfortably workout with the 50lb dumbells.  If I am someone you'd like to have me as a tester for any of your wonderful products, please let me know.  If you can get me off of BSN and into something else, it'd be amazing... dare up to the challenge? :)

Have a good one.

Regards,
Brian Martin

I would like to apply. My story, was diabetic since the age of 12 and am 17 and a half now. Bodybuilding has been in my family for years and my friends are all into it. I have been training for a few years off and on and just recently started back hardcore. I have a good diet of weight gain and a good workout. I commit myself to my workouts and diet. I have been threw supplement after supplement such as Creatine Monohydrate, Purple-K, CreXform , Whey Protein , Real Mass , Tribulus,  M1T. I have had some good gains but i am still in search for a great supplement that works. I have my own bodybuilding website and have made gain logs many times before so i am aware of how they work. Plus if i am selected i will post the log on my website with my gains with a link where my user's can order the product if they want.

i would love to be a guinne pig..i mean..tester

my history has been up and down with bodybuilding starting in iraq when i was 135lbs.. i could only dumbell press 25 lbs! i worked out like it was a second religion to me and worked my way up to 70lb. dumbells! due to a huge increase in mission loads, lack of proper diet and a combonation of other things i had to stop lifting.

in sept. i weighed 175 and had a 36" waist (fatty).. started lifting again and im down to 155 31" waist.

motivation- i have a lot of motivating factors forcing me to the gym..(im not trying to give you a sob story..) my g/f and i broke up and i dont know anyone in the town that i live in and decided to hit the gym after setting into deep depression. currently the gym is "keeping me alive" (im not going to kill myself)  also i started a bulking comp. in the db contest and competition forum to help motivate myself and others.

goals- i go in the morning and do 20-30 min. cardio, go to work and then go back to the gym after to lift weights. im trying to put on mass but stay lean at the same time..it can be done, i just have to make sure i watch what i eat and that what i eat counts.

i should be chosen because i currently keep a very accurate detailed log of my workouts on the internet. here are my stats and a pic.

Age: 22
weight: 154.2
B/F%  : 9.67%
neck   : 15 5/8"
chest  : 38 1/2"
shoulders :43"
waist   : 31"
hips     : 32 5/8"
R. thigh : 22"
L. thigh : 21 5/8"
R. calf  : 15 1/4"
L. calf   : 15 1/4"
R. bicep : 13 1/2"
L. bicep  : 13"
R. forearm : 11 1/2"
L. forearm : 11"

sorry about the picture having no color i was playin around one day and i accidentally saved it that way but you can see more on the contest journal forum i have like 5 pics up there.

I really like you rob, but your bulking stance sorta impedes the aims of the testing.
