purple k is is very basic (kre alkaline) and cancer cant grow in a basic environment, only an acidic one, so it eliminates any chances of cancer from using creatine, even though the creatine mono has never gave and results that it can give cancer, people sometimes are not healthy enough for creatine but use it, so they have problems. Now for your water intake, on a creatine mono supp, your supposed to drink around a galleon of water a day. And even if your not on creatine, a body buildier should be drinking at least 3 litres a day. Purple K does not produce water retension as a side affect so u dont need to worry about the extra weight that comes with water retention, but u should still be drinking tonnes of water. Purple k is also not supposed to break down into creatinine, but a study thats somewhere on this forum showed that it actually breaks down into creatinine even more then the traditional mono. But thats just one study.

hope this helps
