I have just spent the last 6 hours researching on the internet varios different supplements. NEVER have I been so confused. I am taking Pro Labs n large and although I believe I am seeing gains (about .5 -1 pound per week) I am also growing a larger stomach and love handles. I also take creatine monohydrate but have experienced heart burn or acid indigestion from it. So i have been off now for about 3 days. My last few workouts habe been dreadful as my energy has been depleted. I thought I could look into a good pre-workout energy supplement but they say don't take within 4 hours of bedtime. My workout is usually done 1-2 hours before bed time. My arms are 11.5 inches unflexed and I am trying to add mass so that they are just bigger unflexed. obviously flexed too. Its been about 2 months and 2 weeks now since i started working out and I workout 3 times per week. I have not missed a day yet. I am a bit disappointed though in all my effort as I really don't look much different at all, except for having a bigger stomach. I want to take a supplement that will work. But I don't want to take a suuplement that as oon as you stop you lose gains. The NO Xplode seems to give some energy and veins but does nothing for real mass. So I'm thinking I could take it just for the energy, but again the 4 hours b4 bedtime is not possible. i could just take a 1/2 a vivarin and get some energy that way I guess. Then I should get a better protein source and gainer source besides this Pro Labs N Large, in order to get leaner mass. I hear Leukic is also good with Gakic. All in all I'd really rather NOT take all of these stacks, Unless it resulted in real gains that stayed with me. My goal is 185 in 6 months. Im at 169-170 now. Can anyone give me some good info on supplements that will work based upon their own results? THANKS!!!

1- Don't bother with them at all. It's not going to help you in your current situation. Those same six hours could be spent learning about REAL fundamentals like nutrition. Unless you can tell me you have that down pat and understand it fully, then researching pre/post workout products will only serve to confuse you more. *That's not the answer you want but it's what I'm obligated to give as a person who feels your pain* 2- If you are hell bent on supplements, stick with the basics * creatine * protein * EFA (essential fatty acids) * glucosamine Forget the other expensive crap. Sure it might make a difference but only those those who are in tip-top shape. From the sounds of your post, you could be eating more, more often and training differently (none of those you put in, I'm guessing). Anyway, you'll find that supplements are a billion dollar industry with as many opinions on what works, what is dangerous, what is hype as how you might describe a first date. Everybody has an opinion. All of us are usually right in some regard. It's an industry that sells based on hope. What's better to sell? A 250 page ebook with information? A 30 count bottle of pills that guarantees you 1 inches on your arms and a fantastic pump! Anyway, there's a lot of information and a lot of hype. Stick with the basics and move on as appropriate. Take some time to learn about nutrition, your goals, training and such. Things that you can control and don't confuse you with marketing jargon.
