Ok so having being on holiday for a while and if you know england its not sunny here much and that means its hard to get a bit of colour.

I got inspired by my gym owner, hes got some awesome machien like body and hes got a good tan on him aswell, my gym has sunbeds and i was wondering oppinions and advice on sunbathing?

Obviously skin cancer is an issue which i want to minimize the chances of happening, but basically i just want to get some colour, and from what ive herd itl make my muscles look alot more noticable...?

Im one of those guys who tans VERY easily, and never burns, so i guess thats a good thing.

Basically i dont know what im doing when it comes to sun beds as in safety, time, how often etc...

Thanks guys

Its ok to do in moderation...You dont want to become addicted to it, its easy.  You dont want to be orange, so I would do it every other day to get some good color, and use a higher level bed, if you can afford it.  Once you feel you have gotten the color, stop and go only every once in a while.  Hope this helps.

yea just go in moderation, you can get the "safe" beds which have filters that remove most of the harmful rays.  If you can see if they have those types of beds, better safe than sorry ya know

ye definatly, i just wouldnt know what to do, like ok if i went 2/3 times a week, when should i go on? before or after working out, and then for how long at a time, and then would i just keep everything the same once i got tanned but lower the amount of times i got on the beds...?

the people should be certified and should know how long oyu should be in the bed and i would go once maybe twice a week for a few weeks and then just go once a week once you've gotten the tan you want

tanning booths give a very shallow tan, ie it wont last as long as if you tanned in the sun. could last as little as a week.

securitor, he said he plans to go 2/3 days a week... yeah, i've been tanning a little bit recently, make sure you use the higher level beds, otherwise you'll be putting a ton of stress on your skin... higher level=less time in the tanning bed=same tan as any other bed= less chance for cancer.   of course, i've been going in the cheapest one, 15 bucks a month for unlimited, but the lowest level.. and like once a week really, probably should go more, but i'll only go if my friend goes..

trust me, in the winter its well worth it with the ladies, when every other dude you know will be pale.

dont go so much that your friends'll notice you'll tan and think your gay haha.
