Whats up guys..I'm going to college in a month so I am going to order everything in bulk now. I only get the basic supps. So far I got ON Protein, ON Micronized Creatine, and Glutamine. I already have my multis and BCAAs to bring with me. Thing I'm not sure about is my post workout carb source. I know all about it and how much I need but not sure what the best option is. Should I get waixy-maize, use gatorade, or dextrose. Right now I was thinking of just getting a giant bag of dextrose for cheap and adding it to my postworkout shake which would be Chocolate Protein, Creatine, Glutamine. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance guys..lately I actualyl stopped all supps except protein, but I figured in college I will have more time on my hands to make shakes and eat all day and hopefully gain a lot of weight.

I would go with a banana or an orange, or even some fruit juice instead of the nutrient void dextrose. Think of your supplements and food as a fuel source, and try to get the most out of everything you put into your body.

Yea i was never a fan of dextrose I mean never got it before but for college Im going all out. But they have a huge cafe with fruits, juices, and lots of stuff so I guess I can have the shake then just have an orange or some juice. Thanks.

i'm fond of dextrose, myself. it's quick, easy, effective, and CHEAP. i eat plenty nutrient-dense food the rest of the day. only problem is, it makes the protein shake a little too sweet for my taste. big deal.
