Hellooo All, I had questions about Supplements but I felt they were very "Beginner" questions so I put them in this thread. First I wanted to know: 1. Is it safe to take Protein Shakes, Creatine, and No2 (or other energy pills) on the same day, or into your diet. 2. If it is safe, then what is the best way to take all of these supplements in? What should you take when you wake up? Before or After workout? Or at night? When should I take these supplements if I do all of them at same time? Those were my questions. If you could help me out I would very much appreciate it. Thanks

Ok im new, so if im wrong-fair enough, point it out to me, though i am using logic and some knowledge of anatomy to answer this question 1.No2 i would suggest against taking, nitrogen dioxide is highly poisonous from what i have been told, apparently it helps expand blood vessels to get nutrients into the muscle easier, these are usually in pill form, and the dosage is usually from what ive seen in topics here 6 pills a day so you will have to take them before and after workouts, its up to you to take this stuff really, i personally wouldnt go ANYWHERE near it. From using chemistry i have found nitrogen dioxide works similarly to carbon monoxide, carbon monoxide basically attaches to your haemoglobin like normal oxygen should, but it is extremely hard for the haemoglobin to let go of this, i am ASSUMING, this is how nitrogen dioxide works, it sticks to the haemoglobin opening the blood vessels more, and the nitrogen dioxide attracts nutrients so it can carry around a lot more, but in doing so of this, you are saturating your limited haemoglobin with No2, which means not a lot of oxygen is getting to them, which is what muscles use as energy in aerobic respiration(and what you need to LIVE mate). These are all assumptions and from what ive been taught at the very heart of chemistry, the body contains many things-so it might not work like i have described As to creatine and protein shakes, protein shakes are fine, creatine i have heard a few bad things about it, but dont know anything of it so cant really judge it. I am assuming you take these after the workout, as your muscles will use normal oxygen to get the energy they need to work during the workout, and then when you warm down, and relax more, this is when the muscles start growing (muscles DO NOT grow when being worked), in order for the body to do this it will need lipids and proteins, of which you drank a lil while ago, taking them afterwards seems to make more sense to me, taking them before might lead to premature release of them in which does nothing to the muscle as its being worked Again, im new and dont know everything (in fact hardly anything) but that all above is what is true to the best of my knowledge in this subject (which isnt a lot) Hope it helps and hope its all correct lol
