definately start with protien ( any whey protein would be great. casein for slow digestion during sleep, if possible) take a multi-vitamin everyday, it doesn't necesarily help with muscle building, but they contain many essential nutrients needed by the body. if you've been training for a while and your diet is in check, you may want to experiment with creatine. i'm currently trying it, haven't seen too many effects though.

Before using any supplement, please review your diet, make sure you are getting 5 to 6 real meals. I know you want fast gains, but in order to get those you need the most important, good fuel for your engine. After you reviewed your diet or went to a nutriologist here is my recommendation. Get a protein shake, Whey protein is a good shot. The one I`m drinking right now is Whey Protein by Optimum Nutrition After getting use to the aminoacids, protein and other ingredients these protein has, I would recommend moving to Creatine. Creatine works for everybody, but it may work more for a group than for another. I would recommend drinking 1 scoop with 16 oz cold water after 1-2 hours your last real meal and 30 minutes before your workout. So your body is loaded with creatine, then after your workout you drink your protein shake addding 1 scoop of creatine. I assure you will see gains in less than a 6 weeks, and remember, its not how fast you can grow but how much you enjoy lifting.

ORIGINAL: daveyloco Here are the best supplements to start with, its no secret: Green Veggies Lean meats Whole grains If those are "supplements", you need to recheck your diet. I consider them neccesities.
