Hey everybody, yeah, yeah, I'm new. Anyhow, I've got some knee problems and for various reasons I can't make it to a physical therapist ($$ and lack of transportation). I've got most of the exercises I did last time I went written down, however, I'm looking for a way to strengthen them further.

In addition, I've got to learn how to carry a tuba, and I'm a rather small girl (A tuba, if you didn't know, is the largest instrument in the band). Besides arm and shoulder muscles, can anyone give me some back exercises to work up to carrying a tuba? That would be spectacular. I'm 21, 115lbs, 5'4", and here's what I'm doing so far for my knees.

KNEES
dumbell lunges
a couple of dumbell hamstring exercises
hip adductor exercises with a rubber band (across the room)
weightless squats
balance exercises throwing things (that won't break, of course)
"fake" sitting down, with one leg.... works various tendons around the kneecap
calf raises

These are all things from when I was in physical therapy for my knees, which is why theyr'e kinda awkward to name.

Sorry about the long post, I'm trying to be specific. I'm trying to get in shape for a very grueling activity called drum corps, which a lot of people don't know about outside of the activity itself. Basically, imagine doing sprint drills with a 50lb piece of metal on your shoulder while trying to play music through it. That's about it. And you have to stop and start the sprint drills on a dime. That's the easiest way to describe it without taking up three more pages. Hope you guys (and gals) can help. Thanks for your time!

Hypnotised to realise that this surprise will end in demise in front of your eyes. Shining with lies you sent your spies, spat your alibies and your words rotted, rotted and attracted flies. Your boy cries but you proceed to fratenise with those baby blue eyes, eyes like the sky you pleaded for ties. Your stomach cries, and you envisionise a plate full of fries. Lord they are hot though, don't touch, I advise. But you are burned, and penalised, of course overdramatise and you get the prize. I am that boy baby girl and now I will end your 9 lives.
