Didn't really know where to put this post but here is as good as any. I've been lifting since Summer mainly and bulking, I've gotten some stretch marks on my biceps and on the sides of my stomach(love handle region). Is there any product I could use to lessen the appearence of them? And will they go away completely once I cut down? Thanks

I got crazy bad stretch marks when i started lifting.  Like lightning bolts down my biceps, on my triceps, and inside the bicep, kinda through the armpit, to the edge of the chest.  4 years later and i still have them, but they're not as noticeable.

I have heard people say that rubbing vitamin E on them helps... but i have no idea how true that is.

Hi All, this is my first post, and i can see its an old topic but this might be useful to one or two of you. Cocoa butter is good, but for alot of people pure aloe vera is very good. You can use gel from the leaves of a fresh plant (you can keep one potted somewhere in the house, they look quite cool) or you can buy 99.9% pure gel from most pharmacies. You can also add an essential oil to it, all essential oils are regenerative, and they make it smell nice- peppermint oil is good. smells fresh and increases blood flow. You do have to apply it quite regularly, try at least twice a day. There are many more things that work, such as jojoba oil, gota kola, even olive oil. but they all work better as prevention. Once the skin has been damaged you can only reduce the mark not get rid of it completely.

I used this solution called TCA peel which has completely faded my stretch marks around my arms. You can't even tell I had them anymore. Warning though, it hurts like a b*tch applying it.

I never had them until this year.. But i just concider them war wounds.  mine are under my front deltoids though starting to run up my delts and starting to run down the top of my bi's but barely they are not in visible places..  You could use coacoa butter lotion to try to prevent future ones but i think it takes surgery to get rid of stretch marks.

Ya i have big stretch marks on my biceps and some on my chest under the armpit.  The ones on my biceps look like big thunderbolts and sometimes are really red and other times are just pinkish.
