Strength Shoes(Plyometrics) with a strict bodybuilding workout - Sunday, February 27, 2005 6:11 PM
I'm just wondering if I can stick to a intense Mon-Fri bodybuilding workout and do plyometrics on the strength shoes at the same time or if it will overwork my muscles to much. I only workout legs one day a week on Wenesdays to I was thinking about doing the strength shoes on mondays and fridays maybe. what do you think?

I used the strength shoes in high school and my vertical went from 26 to 31 but thats when I was in top basketball shape before I broke my foot my junior year. I'll measure it tommorow but I'm guessing its around 26 again.

Its all with the strength shoes, It focuses on mainly box jumps and lunges as well as the basic plyometric workouts. The stength shoes intesify the workout a lot more though

DON'T RUN A MILE IN STRENGTH SHOES

It will really screw up your lower back/ calves. It puts WAY too much pressure on your achiles tendon.  Follow the program that comes with the shoes from Beginner to Advanced and you will see alot of increases.  I did the advanced last year and it was a good challenge.  I always followed my strength shoes routine by doing 10 40 yard dashes with 15-20 seconds rest time.
