Still Hanging in making progress

I have been weight training since May and have never stuck to it like this. I guess since I will be 40 I want to give it my best shot before it gets harder. I do all free weights and cables now except for the hip add ab machines. I have started bench pressing and started with just the bar three months ago and now can bench 95 x 10 . I don't know if this is good for a woman? but I know my progress is coming along in my weight abilities. I do like a circuit train and do 3 ten minutes cardios during my weight train. I do the stair and the elliptical. I am only concerned with the fact that I have lost 5 pounds or less during this time ( 5 months)! I know my diet isn't clean. I go through spurts of clean eating then go somewhat bad. I take isopure ON whey gold daily and extend during work outs. I have definitely noticed my size and body changing, but to only lose 5 pounds in 5 months????? is this normal?

You need to focus on your measurements, not the weight you have lost... at the beginnings it is quite common, to gain some muscle and loose fat, (very hard to do when you try, especially as you become more advance; although it can happen, and it the first 6 months of weight training, it is almost a guarantee, if your training and eating correctly ). So how to you look, do you record your measurements? As for the bench, 95Lbs is really pretty damn good for your level of experience... Nice to hear your still at it!
