Hey guys, i've been researching on Instone's Forza-T, which many of the people I've talked to have considered it to be a steroid.  they argue that steriods increase testosterone, as does Forza-T, therefore making it a steroid.  someone please give me a detailed definition of a steroid, and if Forza T is a steroid. thanks.

Forza T isnt a steriod, whoever told you that is ignorant.  however it is a testosterone booster.  all it does it boosts your natural test, as apposed to steroids temporarily replacing test.

not certain how old you are but the testosterone boosters have grown in popularity over time. Your friends are unimformed since these stacks are non-hormonal and it layman's terms just helps you maximize your natural testosterone to a greater extent.  On of the more popular ones is the Designer Supplement stack of Activate and Rebound Reoloaded.  However the recoomendation is one be at least 21 yrs of age before trying

WTF is a steroid?  See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steroid

There are several ways to increase testosterone levels, or testosterone availability, and they don't all include just adding more testosterone to the body.  A testosterone booster can be one that competes with proteins that bind testosterone, rendering it inactive in the body (the idea behind ActivaTe).  You can stimulate different systems in the body that feed in to testosterone production.  Etc.

I don't know what the product you are talking about actually is, but I'm guessing (fairly confidently) that it is not a steroid.  See the article which link I posted above.

I both agree and disagree with that. While some supps have such an effect that they would be considered "cheating", if you want to say "why not do it naturally?" then wouldn't that technically include all supplements?..Something to consider...

Not really. I've had this debate before,

I think that once you use products to play with hormones its not natural anymore. I'm also pretty sure that product in the originial post is also banned from natural bodybuilding

Hmm, maybe...I honestly didn't do any research into the product in question before posting, it's late and I felt like saying something...just don't feel like looking up any facts at the moment, lol. If I was wrong, my mistake.

Keeping in mind my comments were reserved to non-hormonal products like Activiate/Rebound Reloaded I would have to disagree with your contention.  Insulin is a hormone as well.  If I was to drink a post workout shake of dextrose or waxy maize to facilitate a high insulin response would that be considered not natural anymore and we should ban those products from natural shows?  If I was to take a product like Glucophase or other similar product of ALpha Lipoic Acid to lower the insulin response to carbs, should we also ban?  I have competed in various natural organizations.  I know some individuals bend the rules greatly and if someone has to use synthetic testosterone, prohormones or designer steroids in their pursuit of a throphy that is just sad.  However you start to walk a slippery slope when you talk about a person manipulating natural hormonal levels as "not natural"

Steroids (the juice) was never mentioned by me.Smile  We are talking about SUPPLEMENTS that are on the market today which are said to boost ones NATURAL production of Testosterone  Where did anything I said talk about the use of steroids?

well well, to answer some questions that i've read, I'm 18, and i don't want to get huge, i wanna be fit, and look good.  I'm prolly just going to use Forza T for one interval (6 weeks) then go Natural from there (Whey Protein, Creatine, ETC.)  i figure i'll just use Forza T as a kick start.  I've lifted for baseball for years without looking the way i wanted.  i mean it did the job.  but now that i dont play baseball anymore, i thought i'd kick it up a notch.  just wanted some feedback on Forza-T and if it was worth it. i have mixed feelings on it. so i'll just use it temporarily.

I'm sorry, the point of your post was, what?  To make someone uncomfortable?  Feel stupid?

If you would have read the whole thread, you would have seen that we had addressed the issue.

I see that you're new to the forum.  I hope you'll introduce yourself.  It's a safe place for people to ask questions.

well i'm 18, and there really haven't been any side effects. i think my facial hair's been growin a little thicker :P  but i've been seeing some gains. people have noticed a difference, but i'm not sure if it's more the forza t or if i've just been lifting for about 3 weeks.  i like it.  i've been noticing that i've been a little more irritable. but not much. i've been having some wacko dreams since i've been on Forza. that's about it.  i've made huge gains in my legs though.  oh well..
