Standard Maintenance Calculation??

I've been consulting differant fitness calculators on bodybuilding.com and realised that there was no standard equation for calculating daily maintenance nutrition requirements. I weigh approximately 175 pounds, and am about 5'11 in height. One calculator listed 2800 calories a day (280g protein, 244g carbs, 77g fat), while another listed 3150 calories a day. Neither of these calculators took into consideration my BMR. What is the standardized equation is for calculating maintenance calories?!?!?!

Thanks dude! that thing is perfect. Another quick question though, how much lower (generally) should your calorie intake be on REST DAYS as opposed to LIFTING DAYS????

I use that same calculator. Basically it gives you what number you should take in every day of the week. Because looking at calories and your diet its easier to look at it a little bigger then just one day, one week is a good measure. If you fill out your stats and activity level and it says your maintenance is 3000, then thats what you should take in every single day to break even. I would get this basic understanding and just the basics down in general before you go off trying to manipulate your macro nutrients and calories on off/lifting days.

Your body demands excess calories for up to 36 hours after a workout, so if you workout 4 days of more a week, there is no downtime.
