Spotty chest - Monday, February 26, 2007 7:15 AM
Hi,

Wondering if anyone can help me out with this, I seem to have lots of spots on my chest and am not sure how to get rid of them. It's weird as I eat as healthily as most of us do dieting and facially i've been lucky enough to have a natural clear skin on my face to the extent - I am teased for my mates believing I am having weekly facials. But my chest and back appear spotty, I am not sure if it's to do with the manner in which I shave my chest or not. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks.

Describe the spots for us.

Are they red? Do they have a 'head' on them (ie. pus under the skin like a pimple)
Are they irritated? (do they have a red radius around them?)
Are they itchy?

How regularly do you shave your chest?
Do they appear a few days after shaving?
Do you do sports or gym after shaving and get sweaty?
Do you exfoliate your skin? (particulary the area that you shave)
Do they ever go away? If so, how long do they last for?

I got that, except for all over my shoulder area. Went away after about a week or two though. Mine looked like a small case of chicken pox. I've never shaved that area though.
