ORIGINAL: GiZZ054 do you lift at all in addition to work? No, though I have thought about it. Work can be pretty draining at the end of an 8 hour shift, so if I did, it would probably be on the weekend.

Some of them are just fat guys but they always were and some are just super strong skinny guys but they have always been skinny. The job is not going to bulk you up but I do believe you will get stronger. This kid in my gym lifts more then me yet I out weigh him by 50lbs! It's going to be about that diet, it will be hard for you to work out so you may try a full body split routine on the weekend.

My diet hasn't been the greatest, as I tend to stop at a fast food joints on average of once a day in my travels. Just need more veggies, and less greese. I've also started taking creatine with muscle juice to maybe give me a bit of bulk. I'll see how it goes anyways. Thanks for your input!

Maybe start packing a sandwhich or two and some cooked veggies in a cooler and eat that instead of fast food. Maybe take some whey in the morning and right after work. You could probably see some good results by working out on the weekends and tweaking your diet a bit.

I suppose if I start eating right, I'll have more energy to make a lunch after work. I just don't feel like doing anything once I get home. :( It's all about motivation and achieving my goals though right?

Yessir, Ive always found that starting a routine the hardest part, and actually doing it becomes fairly easy as you do it more. Might as well give it a try, good luck man!

on a serious note, if you start up in the gym and eat eat eat and bulk up some, I think you will see some great results. and a good idea if your to tired to cook/prepare anything when you get home. Prepare your meals in the morning or pick a day like sunday grill up some chicken, cook a bunch of rice and veggies and store them in the fridge.

I started a log here for the havoc http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=106958391 Its going great, I expected the weight gain which was my primary reason for taking it, to assist in my bulk, but an added suprise is more energy and power in the gym that I know what to do with...and the pumps. Its great stuff and ill hopefully get to 150+ witht his stuff.

Since I first joined this forum, I've done a complete 180 in my diet, and am already seeing good results. I'm packing lunches now, and eating healthy foods. I'd probably still be at McDonalds every day at lunch if I didn't come to this forum. My energy is also going through the roof, and I have no problems cooking a good meal after work every day. The biggest problem for me is eating enough. According to fitday, I burn an average of 4500 calories a day, and it's hard to get that amount out of healthy foods alone. The shakes that I'm taking seem to help with my caloric needs.
