And you need advise on one little thing that you're sure will turn you into the biggest, baddest dude on the planet right? I mean you lift, you dont eat
that bad and you picked up the most expensive, jacked-up-ripped-to shreds-explosive-barely-legal supplement that GNC had! You've got to be a tip or two away from greatness right? Maybe. But probably not. You've probably got alot to learn. And thats ok, none of us just popped out knowing this stuff so just sit back and learn.
If you've got a question regarding the what's or why's or who's or how's its probably been asked and answered before. (and answered quite well mind you) But you're new and this is where you start. I understand. But maybe this will help you find out your information a little faster than having someone come over here to give you an answer that honestly, probably isn't as good as what it could have been.
Here's my DBB guide to you.
Firstly I give to you everything you will ever really need to know. I'm almost serious when I say that, its pretty close. This is the greatest write up I have ever seen and the guy who wrote it is a class act as well:
http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/For_Gaining_Mass/m_111173/tm.htm Secondly I give you a solid, short but sweet write up on the basics:
http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/The_Basics/m_2191/tm.htm So you've got everything right there! Really the advice in those two posts are rock solid and will probably be everything you need. But if you thirst for more here's a great compilation:
Training
http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/Best_of_Training/m_44183/tm.htm If you haven't figured it out yet nutrition is key to success.
Nutrition:
http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/Best_of_Nutrition/m_44179/tm.htm Another thing... you may not realize it yet but unless your diet is good this next section wont be worth the money you will spend. There's a reason they are called supplements. They are there to supplement, not put in place of. With that warning here you go.
Supps:
http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/Best_of_Supplements/m_42767/tm.htm If you have a question that I haven't been able to answer then feel free to ask away. Actually I recommend clicking on the link below, this guy gives pretty solid advice:
http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/Expert_Dan_Whittaker_Danmirage/forumid_88/tt.htm *NOTE
This isn't to discourage anyone from asking a question. Feel free, I just hope I kind of put together a good starting point for people with a lot of questions. Like I said the info is probably already out there, now it may be a little easier for you people without extensive knowledge of DBB.Com to find. The info listed above is rock solid and I would bet my best friends life on... not my own but his for sure.
Also feel free to add to this. This was just a little basic list of things on DBB that were full of good info.
