I have this idea of moving to a 3 day split routine

chest/ tris                    back/bis

bench                           deads
incline                           rows
decline                          pull ups
close grip bench           2 sets of bicep work
dips

Legs and shoulders

Squats
leg press
lunges
Oh press
Lateral raises

i hate that. i'll probably hit that in like 4 weeks.  if you really like your full body workouts you could change up how many sets you do and the reps.  i noticed doing like a 5X5 heavy weight helps break through plateau :D

You went back, theres your first problem.

Full body is better for sports performance anyway.

A few things could have happened.

You stopped taking in enough calories to grow, and perform 100% this would explain your sluggishness also.

Your not getting enough sleep/stressing out

But im probably guessing the first one. Most people are not getting the amount of calories they think or need. So I have a few questions for you...

Did you plateou on everything? Big lifts wise?

what was your routine, how much were you progressing each workout, and how long have you been on the routine?

your doing soccer, so I imagine your getting in some intense cardio along with the lifting, correct?

Depending on your answers I would recommend, trying to get more/better sleep. Taking in more calories, roughly 300-500 more and see what happens.

if you have stalled on everything take 1-2 weeks and deload. which would involve low intensity/ low volume days and lifting just twice a week to recover. Or just take the standard week off and restart.

just my 2 cents

5x5 is a great idea, I forgot to mention that. you should have been on a 5x5 anyway.

how long did you do 4x8 for?

switch up the tempo, i would suggest slowing everything down or speeding up the concentric portion of the lift (depending if you want more power or not).  I really think tempo is overlooked WAY too much, i would change it up
