Snacks

What kind of snacks do you guys eat that are healthy? Is it okay to eat fruit? I like the Chilled Fruit by Del Monte. It's sold in the refrigerated area of the produce section, so it's not like that room temperature stuff. It tastes good and I think it's pretty healthy. I just like the convenience of it not going bad and being ablet to eat just a square or two. Anybody else eat this? This is what I'm talking about: http://bit.ly/qYT4q

fruits good, I personally try and would advice to keep it to morning/afternoon meals/snacks or after workout fast carbs. I didnt see any nutrition facts but just be careful about fruit cups and things like that adding in extra sugar.

I for one don't eat any canned fruit or veggies. Probably all comes from China, full of compounds stuck to the fruit. I have to pick it out at the market and wash it myself before I eat it. Snacks are usually raw Almonds and Walnuts.

or, you could just be more economical & nutritious & buy just completely unprocessed fruit. This coming from a guy who hates to peel fruit.

For your fruit cups, most of them might have preservatives or other stuff you should be aware of so it's really best to always check the label. Try grapefruit, peanuts, cottage cheese and carrots as snacks. They're also good sources of protein for your muscles as well.

Edemame! They are yummy and full of protein! Cottage cheese with fruit. A small pot of yoghurt is probably as convenient as the fruit cup, only with extra protein and calcium... Trail mixes are alright, but they tend to have more sugar infused fruit then anything. Mixed nuts better, then buy a small bag of dried fruit seperate. But they are dangerously addictive and a small amount has ALOT of cals. This might sound odd but: Cellery sticks+peanutbutter(spread on)+few raisins or other dry fruit(But only FEW!)
