Hey guys,

I have a small, painful lump in my left peck behind my nipple. It is painful at times, and it moves around when touched. It seems to be shrinking as time goes, and I was told it was probably a cyst. Is the lump serious?? I'm going to see a doctor, so hopefully everything will be okay and i wont have to stop training..

its gyno man.  How old are you?  You can get gyno just from puberty, I did and it disappeared in a few years.

If you are concerned, getting checked is always a good thing.  The question about your age is a good one.  If you are young, hormone changes could cause the lump, and it will most likely go away in time.  Take care not to 'damage' or cause it to inflame and let your body take care of it.  If you're doing something that might cause gyno...then don't do it.

You're not through puberty yet.  What you described is more likely to occur at an earlier age, but with testosterone surging it's not uncommon for a high school guy to experience it.  It is always good to get it checked especially if there is pain or it enlarges.

You're not past puberty till you can grow an eskimo beard... I'm 19 and still can't do that, lol.
