Situps and Pushups Daily?

I have a 3 day set that I've been doing, and working well. I do not have a specific day for ABs, as it will be a good while before I can see them. I was wondering if it is OK to do some crunches everyday, maybe something like 4 sets of 50 and a few sets of Pushups, maybe the same 4 sets of 50. I usually work out after work, around 6-8pm, but I wanted to do something in the morning, just to get the blood flowing and keep making progress. I figure that its not that much of a workout, so it shouldn't do any harm, and it might not actually do any good either, so I just wanted some opinions.

Doing that will have no affect whatsoever, you want to get a proper routine and do it 3 or 4 days a week with rest days inbetween

As far as I know, doing calisthenics every day should not have a negative impact, even with normal weight training. If some pushups and situps caused problems, I would probably know about it. You could look into Circuts and pyramid sets if you need something more effective and harder.

Your abdominal muscles need rest to repair like every other muscle, although that time is less than other muscles, 24 hours is not enough. Doing them every day you will not build abs.
