Shoulder - Saturday, November 19, 2005 5:35 AM ( #1 )
Last year I got in a car accidnet in which I ended up seperating my shoulder. My shoulder is very weak right now compared to my previous strength. I can stilll put up decent amount of weights but it hurts. Anybody have any ideas on like some at home rehab...or some good warm-up techniques for bench?

cant really give you rehab exercises unless we know whats wrong with your shoulder.

And really, for something major like that, you really should consult your ortho or physio.

I agree with Lynx, but you may want to search rotator cuff exercises or just rotator cuff on the board here, usually these are weak if you have shoulder issues and need to be conditioned which is done with light or no weight and very carefully, like rehab work but also used for warm ups.

You did write that you seperated your shoulder in your first post.

BUT, what do you mean by seperated? Dislocated?

My doctor explained it to me as a 3rd degree seperation...which means that the three tendons that connect the collar bone to the shoulder are torn. So my doctor tells me that its all healded. The only thing is that my collar bone sticks up and u can see it look funny.
