Shoulder Injury Plz Help!

Okay so I've finally went to the doctor and got an X-ray. It turns out that my should is "partially seperated." I dont know exactly what this means. They said that I couldnt lift weights or play any sports until I go to see my orthopedic doctor. So I scheduled an appointment, tuesday. Does anybody know what "partially seperated" really means? Like I know that my shoulder is a bit raised. But what are the downfalls besides the pain? And how can I get this fixed? Leave me info if you can. Thanks. :)

Not completely out of the socket, and not completely in the socket. They may look at popping it back in. I had a chiropractor do it for me, but there is different severities of the injury. Provided that there is no ligament or tendon damage, you should be back up in no time. Try unilatteral movements on the other arm until then.

Thanks much. I think I might have messed it up at little more yesterday than it already was. I worked out and it's been hurting a bit just about all day today. Hopefully I can get it fixed tuesday and not have to worry about it anymore. Again, thanks. If anybody else has anything to add on to what he said then plz do. Thanks guys.

Hello there I reap your post and was unsure how you were going to get it fixed. I am a Physical therapist and if you need advice let me know. I am unsure if the problem still is needing attention so I will wait for a reply. Hope all is well. -M
