Should neighbors be warned about sex offenders?

Unlike shoplifting or car theft.. sex offenders are predatory in nature. 

Depending on the crime... specifically I would give a strong yes.  When it comes to children, then I would definately want to know if a 10 time child offender was living next door.

Sex crimes are just such a violation of a person's space... I'd pretty much vote yes hands down.

I live in a neighboorhood that is not exactly "the nicest" in Omaha. If any one of my neighbors was a sex offender, it'd be pretty nice to know!

Status: offline 		Yes, without a doubt.  The priority has to go to victims and potential future victims and keeping them safe.  Life is about choices and if ones choices include sex offenses then they need to live with the consequences.  No mercy for sex offenders, esp those that prey on children.
