before you say yes... I am about to start my second cycle of HST, I am eating around 3500 calories a day. Right now I'm taking musclemilk's cytogainer (900 calories/serving) as well as the regular muscle milk protein. i'm getting enough protein right now with the cassein... but do you guys think it's really necessary to have WHEY protein as well? If i got whey, probably the best times to take it would be right when I wake up in the morning, and right after my workout correct???

Looking at your weight and BF level, as long as you're getting between 175 - 200g of protein daily you should be fine. If you do decide to keep taking whey, the best time IMO would be after working out.

I only use my Whey for post workout & first thing in the morning simply because its fast and its what the body wants and it can get it quickly. Other than that I think one can get the rest of your daily protein needs from solid foods.
