Scrambled Eggs and Cottage Cheese - Tuesday, May 16, 2006 6:42 PM ( #1 )
I saw this new forum so I decided to copy this from the other recipe forum I posted on a few months back. I though this would be good for others since eggs are popular in the bodybuilding world. This isnt much of a recipe, but its something my parents used to make and I have eaten it my whole life. I made a few changes to it to make it healthier but its still one of my favorite things to eat.

3 egg whites
1 whole egg
a splash of milk
low fat cottage cheese

mix the eggs and milk in a bowl and then make plain scrambled eggs. put the eggs on a plate or in a bowl. Take an equal amount of cottage cheese and mix it with the eggs until they are mixed well. It is very simple to make (just make scrambled eggs and then mix in a bowl with cottage cheese) but Ive never seen anybody else eat this and its amazing.

scrambled eggs are garbage. you ruin the whole protein/fat content.

No, you don't.  Yes, you denature the proteins and oxidize the fats.  Oh well, the perils of cooking.  If the heat doesn't get the proteins, your stomach acids will.

Looks like an interesting recipe.  Lots of protein in that one!

Just cook it on a much lower heat....if they are cooked in like 30 seconds that is too fast

I use around a cup so I guess its actually closer to 45gr. Although you could throw in a couple more egg whites.

If he's using 4 large eggs, that's 24 grams of protein, then a small tub of cottage cheese, that's about 30 grams. So he's pretty close on that estimate.
