Was just wondering, after having read the article that Marc posted on fish oil, what the ideal dosage would be....since you can purchase capsules that are 500mg, 1000mg, 1500mg....

Say for instance for a person like myself who eats tuna/fish 4-5x wk. Is it even necessary for me to supplement?? Just curious..

Acually, its not really good to eat that much fish per week, atleast not for an extended time. Fish accumulate metals that are unsafe to humans, but it is good to have fish like 1 time per week, like 3 times per month. This is assuming that you will be eating like this for an extended period. I do believe that tuna from the can might be an acception though.

Yes.

You would be well advised to be taking 10 to 20 grams of fish oil per day. It will help with body composition and increase leptin sensitivity.

There is no way even if you were eating fatty tuna 2-3 times per day you will be getting that much.

I've heard this as well.

I eat fish (salmon mostly) about 1x a week. Supplement with Fish Oil as I am a Max-OT and Fish Oil lover now.. Fish Oil thanks to TP.
