Safe to take Cytogain as teen?
-
Monday, June 09, 2008 10:19 PM
Hey guys, Me and my brother are working out 3-4 days a week to get bigger and stronger for rugby. We decided to start taking supplements to help us and were going to get CytoGain. We both are 16 and weigh around 130-135lbs and were wondering if it is safe for us to take CytoGain. So if anyone has any information for us about CytoGain that would be most appreciated.

then you don't want cytogainer. cytogainer is a weight gainer that people use during bulking season. it has a TON or carbs, so if you're looking to stay lean then you don't want it the best thing you can do is eat right and eat often. as far as supplements go, just get a good multivitamin, creatine, glutamine, and some protein.

at 135 pounds I wouldnt worry about gaining fat, eat huge and supplement with cytogainer. I would only take half serving though because 900 calories at one time is too much. It should be fine to take as a teen. Make sure you are working out hard and you should see some increase in size.

Well good luck putting on lean muscle with no fat gain whatsoever. If you want to get huge then you have to eat, that dosnt mean eat lots of crap but if you are not gaining size, add in a half shake, if you still arnt gaining add in another half shake. Kids these days and their abs...., not talking about you boomer.

ORIGINAL: Creation thats stupid thinking hell gain fat, hes doing freaking lacrosse you know how much running you do? A **** ton, and hes 16 take cytogainer like whoa and your strength and BMI will increase long as your working out. he's playing rugby and his body is going to automatically burn those 900 calories. his body's metabolism is at a point where it's only burning a certain amount. he hasn't trained his body yet since he's young. he'll store those 900 calories as fat unless he does some extra cardio. so if he's looking to stay lean but get stronger.......it's not going to happen without gaining weight

TNrugger, i'm guessing the TN is for tennessee? if so, where at?

boomer, i know from personal epxreience and experience of those around me that using weight gainer is extermely beneficial, #1 Active teens burn ridculous amounts of calories - school(yes even concentration takes calories) + growing + sports + BMR = a lot. #2 In order to get fat your body has to be in a state of food deprivation aka your not giving your body enough food so when you do eat it stores cause it does not know when it may be getting food again. An example would be fat people who say they dont even eat that much which is WHY they are fat. #3 Or a complete over abudance of carbs at one sitting but at that age its almost impoosible to that if your eating "clean" calories, especially with how fast the metabolism of a teen athlete is. #4 my bad with lacrosse i meant rugby but same **** its lots of running and not to mention its hard on the bones and joints so getting extra protein will be good to aid in building up ligaments and tendons. #5 Carbs are key they are the number one fuel source for the body being even slightly in a defiecient in carbs has been shown in studies to affect mental acuity, mood and other things. And dont forget water is #1, every chemical reaction that goes on in the body takes water - digestion etc., even a 2% water loss can cause decline in mental acuity AND physical performance.
